Red Cherry vs. Bloody Mary Shrimp
While both belong to the same Neocaridina family and share similar care requirements, their appearance sets them apart:
-
Red Cherry Shrimp have a more opaque red body, with color intensity varying by grade (from light red to fire red).
-
Bloody Mary Shrimp, on the other hand, display a deeper, more translucent red, giving them a “ruby-glass” appearance under aquarium lighting.
If you prefer a classic, solid red, Red Cherries are perfect. If you want a darker, jewel-like tone, go for Bloody Marys!
